What’s this about?

The Flood event of 2022 caused erosion to footings of a existing pedestrian footbridge on Dawson River Walk in Brimbin Nature Reserve near the town of Taree. The footbridge failed and the walk has since been closed. The Review of Environmental Factors is required to enable replacement of the footbridge and a fisheries permit to harm mangroves has been obtained.
