Prairiewood NSW 2176
The NSW Government is investing in modern healthcare facilities at Fairfield Hospital to ensure frontline healthcare staff can continue to deliver the world-class care our communities deserve.
Project information
The Fairfield Hospital Redevelopment will deliver sustainable, purpose-built health facilities which can meet our health needs for generations to come.
Benefits
- The redevelopment of Fairfield Hospital will significantly enhance the healthcare of the community.
- The hospital redevelopment is the foundation of a new ‘health neighbourhood’ for the Fairfield area, which will provide contemporary, integrated health care close to home.
- The redevelopment is also set to create local employment opportunities in health, technology, and support services.
Progress
A lead design team, including architect Architectus, project manager Turner & Townsend and cost manager Genus Advisory, was appointed in September 2024 following a competitive tender process.
