Lismore Base Hospital Redevelopment - Stage 3B

Project information

Stage 3B included the fit out of the Southern Tower with:

• a new theatre suite
• central sterile services department
• two inpatient units
• paediatrics and women's care. 

Stages 3B delivered a 10-level Northern Tower which includes:

• imaging
• front of house
• additional theatres
• a pharmacy
• an additional 2 inpatients units
• a new and expanded Intensive Care Unit. 

The relocation and consolidation of community health and ambulatory care services, currently located across a number of sites both on and off the campus, were also included as part of Stage 3B. 

Construction of Stage 3B was completed in 2020. 

Scope

The project delivered: 

• medical imaging
• front of house
• pharmacy
• expansion of theatre suite
• a new theatre suite
• new central sterile services department
• new inpatient units
• women's care
• paediatrics
• Intensive Care Unit
• expanded critical care facilities
• support areas.
