Project overview
Coronation St, Mona Vale NSW 2103
The Mona Vale Hospital Reconfiguration is part of the NSW Government's $600 million investment in the Northern Beaches Health Service. It is the biggest investment in local health services and infrastructure on the Northern Beaches in decades.
The transformed Mona Vale Hospital was delivered with a focus on rehabilitation, sub-acute and community health services. It will ensure high-quality, integrated healthcare services are delivered within contemporary, purpose-built facilities.
The removal of some redundant buildings on campus has allowed for new purpose-built facilities, including a new geriatric evaluation management and palliative care (GEM/Pal Care) unit, which opened in February 2021. The unit is the first palliative care unit of its kind on the Northern Beaches.
