Project overview
The Rural Ambulance Infrastructure Reconfiguration (RAIR) program is the single largest investment in regional NSW Ambulance's 130-year history. The NSW Government is investing $232 million to deliver the Rural Ambulance Reconfiguration (RAIR) Stages 1 and 2 programs.
With 54 new, rebuilt or upgraded ambulance stations being delivered in rural and regional NSW, the program will support the delivery of enhanced out-of-hospital emergency medical care to the community.
As part of the RAIR program, Health Infrastructure is delivering the new ambulance stations, which will provide local paramedics with modern, fit-for-purpose infrastructure to better meet the emergency medical care needs of communities in regional and rural NSW.
Planning is underway for the new ambulance station at Jindabyne. All other projects have been completed.
