This project follows on from the $277 million St George Hospital Stage 2 redevelopment, which was completed in mid 2019.
Project information
The project will deliver a new birthing unit with 8 fit-for-purpose birthing rooms, with water immersion facilities, enabling contemporary models of care.
The project will also upgrade equipment and finishes in some of the existing operating theatres to ensure the continued delivery of high quality services.
Scope
The project delivered:

- antenatal assessment unit
- upgrade equipment and finishes to some of the existing operating theatres.
