Enter or edit your goal

Understand and prepare

  • Determine the main goal and target audience for your task list.
  • Outline main categories (tasks) and subcategories (subtasks).
  • Familiarise yourself with the Task List Builder interface and functionalities via the Help Hub.

Add the Task List Builder to the page

  • Find it under DCS in the Add Block screen, or use the block name filter, searching for 'Task List Builder'.
  • Provide an optional administrative title (only viewable in the CMS layout mode).
  • Enter a specific goal for the task list, or tick Hide heading if not needed.

Customise and configure

  • Define labels and helper texts for tasks and subtasks.
  • Craft prompts for adding tasks and subtasks.

Create and organise Tasks and Subtasks

  • Use post-its or a digital solution such as MIRO to organise the order of your tasks and subtasks.
  • Press Add task and name your task.
  • Press Add subtask and name your subtask.
  • Repeat step above until you have all your subtasks entered.
  • Press Add task to add another task below and repeat above steps to add subtasks.

Finalise and publish

  • Ensure the default disclaimer is appropriate and edit if required.
  • Press Add block and then save your layout to preview.
  • Ensure it functions as intended.
  • Publish the page once everything looks correct.
  • Periodically review and update the task list for relevance and accuracy.
