Guide to submitting a tender for a LTGP
Eligibility criteria
The following eligibility criteria should be read as Schedule 3 of the Tender Process to determine fee for Stock Permits (Long Term Grazing) 2025.
Eligibility criteria
Tenderers who lodge a Tender Submission must meet the following criteria to be eligible for consideration under the Tender Process for TSR Stock Permits (Long Term Grazing) 2025:
- be a legal person (includes an individual, a corporation and a body corporate or politic)
- be over 18 years of age (if individual)
- have agreed to comply with the Terms of Tender
- confirm they hold or can obtain a Property Identification Code (PIC)
- not have any outstanding debts owing to Local Land Services
- submit a Permit Fee Offer that meets the requirements in clause 2.7 of the Tender Process for Stock Permits (Long Term Grazing) 2025
- undertake to pay the Permit Fee Offer made in the Tender Submission:
a. before the stock permit is granted, or
b. in accordance with a payment schedule. - confirm they have or can obtain public liability insurance cover of at least $20,000,000 for the TSR that covers the grazing of stock on the TSR, for the entire term of the permit
- confirm they have inspected the selected TSR and they are satisfied it is in a suitable condition for their proposed usage.
- confirm they are satisfied that:
a. the TSR is fenced, and
b. the existing fencing on the TSR is stock proof, or
c. they are prepared to undertake maintenance works at their own cost to ensure the existing fence is stock proof for the duration of the permit. - confirm they are satisfied that:
a. there are sufficient stock watering facilities on the TSR, or
b. they are prepared to pump or transport water onto the TSR at their cost to provide adequate water for stock.
