The NSW Government welcomes highly skilled migrants in a range of occupations to help drive economic growth in our state.
NSW provides visa nomination to highly skilled professionals, already employed and living in NSW for the following skilled visas:
NSW is currently targeting skilled migrants in select health, engineering and ICT occupations that support NSW's economic recovery and health response to the coronavirus pandemic.
Skilled Nominated visa (subclass 190)
A permanent visa for points tested skilled workers who are nominated by a state or territory government agency.

Skilled Work Regional visa (subclass 491)
A provisional visa for skilled people nominated by a state or territory government to live and work in regional Australia.
