About the program
The program will be delivered in three modules to address the following topics to enhance participants’ export knowledge and capability:
Module 1 – Export Readiness, Strategic Fit & Export Pathways:
Online (90 min) - 12 August 2026 at 10:00-11:30am
This module will help businesses determine if, when and how to export, before committing resources. The workshop will cover:
- Is exporting right for your business?
- Value proposition, market fit and competitive positioning
- Export models and pathways
Module 2 – Market Research, Entry Strategy, Pricing & Risk Fundamentals:
Online (90 min) - 1 September 2026 at 10:00-11:30am
Move from optimism-led export decisions to evidence-based market and entry choices. The workshop will cover:
- Market research and selection
- Entry strategy, pricing and costing basics
- Payments, IP and risk awareness
Module 3 – Export Planning, Connections & Execution: Hosted by Business Sydney
- Online (90 min) - 15 September 2026 at 10:00-11:30am
- In-person - 22 September 2026 - Business Sydney, Level 6, 8 Chifley Square (corner Phillip St & Hunter St), Sydney CBD at 9:30-11:30am
Apply learning, stress test assumptions and build a clear export action plan. The workshop will cover:
- Practical export planning and compliance
- Peer exporter case study
- Building global connections and winning buyers
Who should attend
- NSW businesses with products and services for export
- Aspiring and new exporters
- Existing exporters looking for a refresher
Attendance to all modules is encouraged.
A Certificate of Attendance will be provided to participants who attend all three modules.
