NSW Trade and Investment Strategy

The NSW Trade and Investment Strategy 2035 is a 10-year plan to grow and diversify the state’s exports and attract investment. It sets clear targets to support new and existing industries and drive long-term economic prosperity.

Fast facts

In 2023–24, NSW exported $142.5 billion in goods and services. Our goal is to boost exports by $100 billion to reach $245 billion by 2035.

Exporting businesses can unlock great potential by tapping into global markets.

Businesses that export are more productive, pay higher wages and create more employment, generating long-term economic prosperity for the state.
