SAHF program update

Latest updates on the Social and Affordable Housing Fund (SAHF) program including delivering access to additional social and affordable homes across the state and meeting targets in regional NSW.

The program is delivering access to the full complement of 3,486 additional social and affordable homes required by the contracts. These homes will be delivered over a 25-year contract term (per dwelling) across the state, with the first homes delivered in 2017 and the final homes delivered in late 2024. Over 30% of these homes are in regional NSW.

SAHF providers report that 95% of dwellings delivered under the SAHF meet the Liveable Housing Australia (LHA) guidelines – Silver standard.
