Introductory training course for landholders to become accredited to use vertebrate pesticide products to control pest animals delivered by Local Land Services.
Event details:
South East Local Land Services will be offering Vertebrate Pesticide Induction Training (VPIT) at Narrawa.
Upon completion, participants will be accredited to use 1080, Pindone, PAPP and RHDV baits for 5 years.
The course will cover:
legislation and legal obligations
baiting techniques
toxicity
transport and storage
reduce non-target exposure.
