Location
Crookwell is a picturesque and pleasant rural town and is in the middle of rich agricultural and pastoral districts. Crookwell is high on the Great Dividing Range and close to Wombeyan Caves.
Getting there
Crookwell is a 2.5 hour drive from Sydney, 1.5 hours from Canberra and 30 minutes from Goulburn.
Patient transfers and direct admissions
Southern's District Patient Flow Unit coordinates patient movements between hospitals in Southern NSW Local Health District, and to or from hospitals outside our district.
The unit manages transfers, coordinates conference calls between referring and accepting clinicians, confirms bed availability, and books patient transport so care is timely and safe.
