This course provides students with the opportunity to develop their linguistic and intercultural knowledge and understanding, and the speaking, listening, reading and writing skills to communicate in Korean. Topics covered provide contexts in which students develop their communication skills in Korean and their knowledge and understanding of language and culture.
Topics studied through 2 interdependent perspectives, the personal world and Korean communities, provide contexts in which students develop their communication skills in Korean and their knowledge and understanding of language and culture.
Students’ skills in, and knowledge of the Korean language will be developed through tasks associated with a range of texts and text types, which reflect the topics. Students will also gain an insight into the culture and language of Korean speaking communities through the study of a range of texts.

HSC
