Recently, the NESA Board approved updates to the Manual for recognising schools from outside NSW to present candidates for the Record of School Achievement and/or Higher School Certificate.
The updated Manual for the recognition of schools outside NSW to present candidates for the NSW Record of School Achievement and/or Higher School Certificate (‘the Manual’) is now available.
Implementation of the updated Manual will commence at the publication of this notice.
Key features of the updated Manual include:
- replacing references to the Board of Studies, Teaching and Educational Standards with references to NESA
- an introduction and overview of the recognition requirements and processes
- greater clarity in the two-step expression of interest process for initial recognition
- greater transparency in relation to the ‘evidence of compliance’
- a contents page and glossary.
