The Sci-Plus 3300 Scientific calculator with Speech has been approved for use from the 2025 HSC, for students with low vision or vision impairment.

New 7–10 syllabuses are now available on the NSW Curriculum.

The final suite of updated 7-10 mandatory syllabuses have today been released to NSW schools, with an emphasis on deep learning that builds on content in new primary school syllabuses, setting students up with the knowledge and skills needed for independent inquiry and high-order thinking.

Update to the Korean and Literature course prescriptions 2025–2030 and minor amendments to 7 of the Languages Extension course prescriptions 2025–2030 for accuracy and consistency.

ACE rule 2.1.2 (which comes into effect 14 October 2024) has been amended to allow schools flexibility in determining the number, type, and weightings of assessment in each HSC course from 2025.
