NESA has added a new Assessment Certification and Examination (ACE) entry for Minimum standard online tests: Candidates sitting the tests after school. ACE rule 4065 covers students who sit for the minimum standard online tests after leaving school.
Implementation will commence Monday 7 June 2021.
Key features of ACE rule 4065 include:
- eligibility to enrol in the minimum standard tests– only students who have otherwise fulfilled all of the HSC requirements may enrol in minimum standard tests
- cancellation window – students wishing to reschedule or cancel a test have up to 24 hours prior to the schedule time to do so
- illness/misadventure – students who enrol in a minimum standard test but do not attend must provide evidence of illness or misadventure to NESA
- malpractice – suspected malpractice by students sitting a minimum standard test will be investigated by NESA.
