State Rescue Board
The following documents support the accreditation and operational activity of rescue units in NSW.
Accredited Rescue Units
The State Rescue Board of NSW’s principal function is to ensure the maintenance of efficient and effective rescue services throughout the State. The Board is also responsible for recommending to the Minister the accreditation of units to undertake those forms of rescue for which the Board has decided that accreditation is required.

Rescue Accreditation Proposal
The Rescue Accreditation Proposal template supports pre and full accreditation for General Land Rescue, Road Crash Rescue, Vertical Rescue, Flood Rescue and Marine Rescue units.

Operational Capability Inspection Report
The Operational Capability Inspection Report supports the provision of evidence regarding the ability of rescue units to provide rescue services to the communities of NSW.

The Regional Rescue Committee Reporting Template supports reporting lines on identified issues, debriefs, incidents, complaints, disputes and items of major significance.
