NSW Women's Week
NSW Women’s Week 2026 is set to kick off from Monday 2 March to Sunday 8 March. Promising a dynamic series of events, focusing on inclusivity and celebrating the achievements of women across NSW.
Events will showcase the remarkable stories and accomplishments of women and girls from diverse backgrounds, including:
- Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander
- culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD)
- those living with disability
- LGBTIQA+
- those living in regional, rural and remote NSW.
The week-long celebration will connect, celebrate, and pay tribute to women through a series of engaging events being delivered thanks to the NSW Women's Week grants program and culminates with the announcement of the recipients of the NSW Women of the Year Awards 2026.

Women NSW are proud to support a program of events designed to celebrate, connect and honour the women and girls in our lives. There is something for women and girls of all ages and backgrounds, and we encourage the public to find out what is happening in their communities and get involved.

| Wednesday 4 March 3:30-5pm | Shore to Sea: the changing role of women in the Royal Australian Navy | Discover inspiring stories of women in the Royal Australian Navy – from wartime trailblazers to today’s leaders – in this special event for NSW Women’s Week. From Mrs Mac’s Emergency Signalling Corps in the Second World War and the Women’s Royal Australian Naval Service (WRANS) personnel who served through Cyclone Tracy, to the women submariners of today, these two talks celebrate the incredible contributions of women to the Royal Australian Navy.
