What we do

We work with industry, providers and the community on vocational education and training.

This gives people practical skills and knowledge for the workplace. It can help people entering the workforce for the first time, improving their skills, or developing a new career.

We provide funding, guidance and support for programs. This, in turn, supports economic, regional and community development.

How we work

We provide vocational education and training:

funding
regulation
strategic policy
planning and advice.

This includes:

managing training provider contracts
monitoring their performance
providing advice and support for apprenticeships and traineeships
providing funded programs like Smart and Skilled.

Areas we service

Training Services NSW has six regional and three Sydney metropolitan centres. These service the needs of local employers, training providers and individuals. The centres play a key role in offering consumer advice and support in their local areas. Find a local office
