What we do
We work with industry, training providers, and the community to support Vocational Education and Training (VET) in NSW.
Our programs help people develop practical skills and knowledge for the workplace. Whether someone is starting their first job, improving their skills, or looking for a whole new career.
We provide funding, guidance, and support for these programs, which contribute to economic growth, regional development, and stronger communities.
How we work
We provide vocational education and training:
- funding
- regulation
- strategic policy
- planning and advice.
This includes:
- managing training provider contracts
- monitoring their performance
- providing advice and support for apprenticeships and traineeships
- providing funded programs like Smart and Skilled.
Areas we service
Training Services NSW has six regional and three Sydney metropolitan centres. These service the needs of local employers, training providers and individuals. The centres play a key role in offering consumer advice and support in their local areas. Find a local office
