Location

Holbrook is a small town in southern New South Wales on the Hume Highway, known both locally and nationally as ‘the Submarine Town’, Holbrook is a popular tourist community with the decommissioned Australian submarine HMAS Otway a regular attraction. 

With a population of just under 2,000 residents Holbrook is the centre of a richly diverse rural economy and produces wool, wheat and other grains, lucerne, fat cattle and sheep. The wonderful events calendar includes fairs, markets, community triathlon and the annual Holbrook Agricultural Show.

Holbrook has two local schools and easy access to other education options throughout the district, including Albury.

Getting there

Holbrook is about 1 hour south of Wagga Wagga and 6 hours' drive from Sydney.
