The Junee Multipurpose Service provides a 24-hour accident and emergency and has both hospital beds and residential aged care beds.

Our services

Community health services include community nursing, child and family health, diabetes education and physiotherapy.

There are also a number of visiting services including an asthma educator, dietetics, mental health/ drug and alcohol, podiatry, women’s health, speech pathology and occupational therapy.

Location 

Junee is a quaint rural town set between rolling hills and the Murrumbidgee River just north of the city of Wagga Wagga.

With five local schools, excellent medical facilities, and a nearby university, Junee’s prosperity and mixed services economy is based on a combination of agriculture, rail transport, light industry and government services; in particular correctional services.

Some of the interesting activities in Junee include fishing, swimming or sailing at Bethungra Dam and birdwatching at the Junee wetlands. Food and wine are also irresistible drawcards for the town.

Getting there

Junee is about 30 minutes from Wagga Wagga and 6 hours' drive from Sydney.

Qantaslink and Rex Airlines operate direct flights to Sydney and Melbourne from Wagga Wagga Airport on a daily basis to allow quick weekends away in the capital cities.
