Location

An unexpected oasis, Lake Cargelligo is a relaxed and easy paced town in the central west region of New South Wales.

With a population of just under 1,500 residents, some of the enjoyable things to do in Lake Cargelligo include water skiing, sailing, fishing on the picturesque lake as well as being a very popular spot for bird watching.

There are 2 schools including a public school from kindergarten through to year 12 and a Catholic school up to year six.

There are 2 clubs, 2 motels and a caravan park and 2 hotels for tourists and residents to enjoy with both having restaurants.

Getting there

Lake Cargelligo is a 1 hour and 50 minute drive north of Griffith, about 3 hours north of Wagga Wagga and a 7 hours' drive from Sydney.
