Our services The Eurobodalla Health Service is part of a networked service spread over three campuses, with 2 hospitals co-located with community health centres in Batemans Bay and Moruya. There is a standalone community health centre in Narooma.   Eurobodalla Community Health includes the community mental health and drug and alcohol service.  Aboriginal health services are available throughout the service. Our team of friendly, highly trained health professionals provide excellent services for residents and visitors.

Location

Moruya is a country town located on the banks of the beautiful Moruya River in the Eurobodalla region of the NSW South Coast. The town services the surrounding rich agricultural region and is complemented by tranquil scenery and beautiful beaches.

Getting there

Moruya is a 4.5 hour drive from Sydney and a little over 2 hours from Canberra.

Qantas and Rex Airlines offer flights from Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra to Moruya Airport. 

Patient transfers and direct admissions

Southern's District Patient Flow Unit coordinates patient movements between hospitals in Southern NSW Local Health District, and to or from hospitals outside our district.

The unit manages transfers, coordinates conference calls between referring and accepting clinicians, confirms bed availability, and books patient transport so care is timely and safe.
