The Tumut Health Service provides a full range of community health services are available including community nursing, allied health and mental health services.

The Tumut Hospital redevelopment was completed in 2022.

Location 

Located on the banks of the Tumut River, Tumut is a small town located in the north-west foothills of the Snowy Mountains in New South Wales. With a population of just over 6,000 residents Tumut has lots of exciting spots to explore including a range of tracks and trails, rivers and waterways, Mount Kosciusko and goldfields.

There are a range of education and child care options including a primary school, high school, special school and catholic school up to Year 10. 

 

Getting there 

Tumut is about 1.5 hours east of Wagga Wagga. It is about a 3 hour drive from Canberra and 5.5 drive from Sydney.

Qantaslink and Rex Airlines operate direct flights to Sydney and Melbourne from Wagga Wagga Airport on a daily basis.
