Shared e-scooters
Some councils in NSW are partnering with the NSW Government to host a shared e-scooter trial. This means it is legal to ride a shared e-scooter provided at these locations for a limited time.
Shared e-scooter trials are operating in:
- Forster-Tuncurry until 30 June 2025
- Wollongong until 30 June 2025.
It is not legal to ride your privately owned e-scooter in trial sites. Significant fines apply.
