About the micro-credential
Collaborative robots, or 'cobots,' are designed to work safely alongside human workers and are primarily used for basic, repetitive tasks.
Accurate programming is essential for cobots to perform these tasks effectively and safely. Building on the Basic Programming and Use of Collaborative Robots micro-credential, this course provides learners with advanced programming techniques for cobots.
What you will learn
By completing this micro-credential, you will:
- program cobots using both offline and online methods to execute complex industry-relevant tasks
- troubleshoot and resolve challenges such as complex path planning, singularity avoidance, and safety issues
- integrate cobots with peripheral equipment as part of a larger system
- use end-of-arm tooling to perform physical operations, including material handling
- develop an understanding of the underlying technology in cobot systems, including sensing, actuation, and control, to deepen your knowledge of robotics technologies.
