Storage

Proper storage of all types of rigging and lifting gear is essential to prevent deterioration and damage.

Slings should be stored in locations that are:

• clean and free from dirt, grit and fluids
• dry and ventilated to prevent condensation and/or corrosion
• off the ground to prevent damage by mobile plant, abrasive surfaces or chemicals.
