About the Project

The Wentworth Falls Dam and Lake Upgrade project will deliver improved access to quality recreation facilities supporting a diverse range of activities. The project includes the finalisation of a loop walk, construction of accessible fishing points, additional picnic facilities and kayaking entry points to improve access to the lake for recreational activities from local and Western Sydney visitors. The project also includes a road re-alignment and parking upgrades to enhance traffic management and pedestrian safety of this popular recreational precinct.

The project will include:

  • New Spillway
  • Upgraded dam wall
  • New Car Park, upgrade Wentworth Falls Lake Precinct
  • Loop walk
  • Viewing platform / bridge
  • Accessible footpaths
  • Recreation assets (kayak and fishing points, BBQs, shelters)
  • Improved road surface at Sinclair Crescent
  • Signage within precinct
