About the Project

The Paisley Road Beautification Project delivers a range of footpath, road, paving and landscaping upgrades along Paisley Road between Burwood and Croydon Stations. The project creates a safe, accessible and visually appealing pedestrian connection, equipped to accommodate increased resident and visitor numbers in the area.
 

Project Scope

The works feature:

  • New paved footpath and parking lane blisters along the rail corridor
  • Installation of pedestrian refuge crossings
  • Removal and replacement of kerb and gutter
  • Stormwater infrastructure
  • Landscaping and new native palm trees.
