About the Project

The Park Expansions - Portland and Russell Street Project transforms 1,450m2 of underutilised land into new green space for the community to support continued population growth and improve public access to outdoor recreation. The project expands the adjacent Russell Street Reserve in Strathfield by 50%, while improving public amenity and integration with other green spaces and recreation facilities in the Henley Park precinct in Enfield.

Project Scope

The project features:

  • Demolition of three existing Council-owned properties
  • New fencing at Russell Street 
  • Landscaping and tree planting (to integrate the land with the rest of Russell Street Reserve and Henley Park).

Funding:

NSW Government Funding: $814,641.00

TOTAL PROJECT VALUE: $814,641.00
