About the Project

The Campbelltown City Centre Transformation Project will create transformational change to the Queen Street Precinct of the Campbelltown City Centre, including the green open spaces, community infrastructure, arts and culture facilities, high street activation and local traffic programs.

The project will create streets and spaces that support public life, making the precinct more attractive to diverse members of the community, and increasing events and activation to encourage ongoing visitation. The project involves the creation of permanent event ready spaces and provisions for café pavilion opportunities, additional on-street dining, street trees and garden beds along with the installation of public art and providing improved access to Council owned heritage assets that will enhance precinct identity and community pride.

  • Installation of lighting
  • Landscaping and tree planting
  • Installation of street furniture
  • Upgrades to toilet pavilion
