NSW announces $25 million for blackspots
The NSW Government is partnering with the Commonwealth and multiple telecommunication carriers to launch the $25 million mobile blackspots program in regional NSW to help families, businesses and emergency services connect.
The program will improve coverage along major transport routes, in small communities and in locations prone to experiencing natural disasters, as well as addressing unique mobile coverage problems.
The announcement was made by the Deputy Premier, Minister for Finance, Services and Property and the Minister for Regional Development.
