The Coffs Harbour bypass has built a temporary asphalt batch plant on North Boambee Road. This plant will only provide asphalt for the project and will be removed after bypass construction is completed.

As part of major construction, the project team is continuing to build a new service road, west of the Pacific Highway, between Sawtell Interchange and north of Englands Road/Stadium Drive, Boambee. While most work will be completed during approved construction hours, the team needs to carry out some work along the Pacific Highway at night including installing drainage, barrier relocation, laying concrete and asphalt, and surveying.
