The Bellbird Scenic Drive is a scenic loop drive near Narooma on the New South Wales south coast, running through Tilba Tilba, Central Tilba, and Tilba Valley Winery with the stunning backdrop of Gulaga (Mt Dromedary). Getting there: Turn off the Princes Highway 20 km south of Narooma onto Corkhill Road to begin the Bellbird Scenic Drive. Tilba Tilba: The drive begins at the village of Tilba Tilba, home to Foxglove Spire Gardens and nearby, the starting point for the Gulaga Mountain walk at the old Pam's Store (currently closed). Central Tilba: The road continues to the historic village of Central Tilba, worth a stroll through its shops. From here the drive continues west along Punkalla-Tilba Road and Ridge Road (sealed and unsealed roads) through farmland and bush, until reaching the Old Highway, where drivers turn right. Tilba Valley Winery: Further along the Old Highway is Tilba Valley Winery, offering wine tasting, lunch, and cellar door sales. Gulaga (Mt Dromedary): The drive concludes in the foothills of Gulaga (Mt Dromedary), where bellbird calls carry through the surrounding bush. From here, return to Narooma via the Princes Highway. The Bellbird Scenic Drive suits visitors wanting a half-day loop from Narooma combining historic villages, gardens, wine tasting, and bushland scenery at Gulaga.
