About this location
Visit the Byrock Water Holes. The water hole, which lies 500 metres to the west of the town just beyond the hotel, has a detailed explanation of its meaning to the Ngemba Aboriginal people.
The Village of Byrock was once a stopping point for Cobb & Co coaches which used the Byrock Rock Holes to water their horses.
The Bourke Brochure, which contains a map with detailed directions, can be picked up from the Back O' Bourke Information and Exhibition Centre.
