Day visits are offered to this fifth-generation family farm at Hazeldean Quandary, just off Burley Griffin Way, 22 kilometres west of Temora and 14 kilometres east of Ariah Park.
Look through the two railway carriages used in award-winning, tourism-accredited Country Carriage Bed and Breakfast and have a guided tour of the Pioneers Cottage displaying family memorabilia from the late 1800s through to the 1920s, their collection of horse-drawn farming equipment, wagons, carts and sulkies and meet their two Clydesdales.
Enjoy an old-fashioned morning tea undercover in the rambling country garden featuring over 200 roses and a water garden. A minimum of four to a maximum of 10 guests with prior bookings are essential with at least 24 hours notice
Ariah Park, a 1920s heritage village, is a 15-minute drive away and the free booklet: A self-guided tour to Ariah Park provides the history and stories of buildings within the Village.
Visits to Temora Aviation Museum and the Bundawarrah Centre will complete your day as you step back in time in Temora Shire.
