Lions Park is located in Anzac Parade across from the Gunnedah Memorial Swimming Pool, the Dorothea Mackellar Centre and Dorothea Mackellar Memorial Statue and the Water Tower Museum which is beautifully painted with murals of the Vietnam Vets and The Battle of Long Tan.
This park features a large sheltered seating area with picnic tables, an enclosed childrens playground, toilet facilities, free gas barbecues and tall Shady Trees s with room for children to run around and play.
