Situated at the corner of Homer Street and Sheridan Street, the Two Worlds sculpture was unveiled in October 2019. The artwork reflects the extraordinary links between Samuel Augustus Perry's classical inspiration for the naming of Mt Parnassus and the real-life history of Gundagai. Drawing on Perry's story and the devastating Great Flood of 1852, Two Worlds explores the idea of worlds colliding across time, mythology, and lived experience.
