Overview of this event
Join Nicola for this immersive workshop at the Gallery.
Through drawing and lithography, Nicola uses fairy-tale iconology and rhymes to explore concepts surrounding zoonoses (animal diseases that can infect humans).
In this workshop you will draw an image onto a polyester plate, then spread a coating of gum arabic over the finished drawing using a sponge, gently wipe off the gum, then roll up the plate with an oil based ink, place paper over the image and rub to transfer it, and finally wipe over and roll with ink to create more prints to take home.
All materials will be supplied.
