Grants and funding bring many benefits to communities across NSW

If you have received a grant or funding from NSW Government for an initiative or project, you should acknowledge the government’s contribution in the correct way.

This is usually a condition of the grant or funding received.

Acknowledgement is important to:

  • recognise the role of NSW government
  • promote transparency about public funding
  • ensure consistency across programs and projects
  • build public trust.

NSW Government staff who manage grants or funding, projects and communications are also responsible for ensuring that acknowledgement and branding requirements are met.
