More than $11.6 million will fund 82 infrastructure projects including wide-ranging improvements across NSW museums, regional galleries, performance spaces and Aboriginal Cultural Centres and Keeping Places, thanks to the NSW Government’s Creative Capital Minor Works and Equipment Projects (Round Two) program.
These projects are the latest to receive funding as part of the $72 million Creative Capital initiative launched in 2021.
Catherine Farry, Executive Director of Western Darling Arts welcomed the NSW Government’s funding of $73,553 to purchase vital equipment for a new audio-visual production studio in Broken Hill, Far West NSW.
“This Creative Capital funding will help realise the vision of ‘The Studio’ in the new Screen Broken Hill Media Hub. This state-of-the-art multi-purpose facility will enable the region’s broadcasters, voice actors, musicians, and filmmakers to record, produce and connect with other creatives around the world,” Ms Farry said.
