$20 million in grant funding is now open to farmers across 11 Local Government Areas as part of the Farms of the Future program.

Grants up to $35,000 will allow eligible farmers to uptake new technology such as soil moisture sensors and dashboards to help monitor their farm from a mobile device, through the dedicated Agtech Catalogue.
The program encourages farmers to embrace the widespread use of agricultural technology and digital connectivity, helping to increase the value of the primary industries sector to $30 billion by 2030.
The required Monitoring your farm with Agtechtraining for farmers seeking to access the grants is available and will build farmer’s capacity and confidence using digital devices. The training was developed in partnership with Tocal Agricultural College, one of the leading providers in specialised training for agricultural and rural industries.
Full details of the grant funding opportunity are available on the NSW Government’s grants and funding finder website.
