Queensland–NSW Statement of Principles and Priorities for Cross-Border Collaboration

The NSW-Queensland cross-border agreement provides a framework for collaboration and practical actions that improve outcomes for border communities.

In December 2024 a renewed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for Cross-Border Collaboration was executed by the NSW and Queensland Premiers. This agreement builds on the 2017 MoU and acknowledges the importance of working together.

Key initiatives to be delivered under this MoU will prioritise cross-border issues that improve regional economic development, service delivery, community resilience and health and wellbeing outcomes.
