About the facility

The Royal Flying Doctor Service runs a General Practice clinic each week, with supporting allied health, mental health and specialist nursing staff.

They also provide 24-hour emergency treatment, support and retrieval. Tibooburra Health Service also runs an ambulance service assisted by trained volunteers in partnership with the NSW Ambulance Service.

Patients requiring emergency hospitalisation are transported to a hospital such as Broken Hill, Adelaide or Dubbo.

Primary health services are provided by 2 registered nurses. Nursing staff can arrange referrals to a range of other services as listed below, and visiting specialists may be available.
