Accessing our free dental services
You can access our free public dental services if you:
- live in Far West NSW Local Health District, and
- have a valid Medicare card, and
- are under 18 years old or hold a Centrelink Health Care card, Centrelink Pensioner Concession card or Commonwealth Seniors Health card.
To make an appointment call 1800 679 336. Please have your Medicare card and concession card ready if you are over 18.
When you contact us, we will ask some questions about your dental problem and your general health.
In most cases, you will be placed on a waiting list and contacted as soon as an appointment is available for you.
The wait time will depend on how urgent your case is compared to other people who also need our dental services.
This service is based in the Broken Hill Community Health Centre.
