Glen Innes Hospital Redevelopment planning approval submitted and tender under assessment
A public exhibition was held during October and November 2025 for the Glen Innes Hospital Redevelopment project, during which time the planning documentation was on display for feedback.
Seven formal submissions were received during the public exhibition, and verbal feedback was also received during the community consultation sessions. All feedback has been considered by the project team and addressed in the Review of Environmental Factors (REF) report.

The project has now been submitted for formal planning approval, and the planning approval assessment outcome is expected in early 2026.
Additionally, the main works construction tender has now closed and is under assessment. Following the tender assessment process, a builder is expected to be appointed in early 2026.
The community will be updated following the planning assessment outcome and the appointment of a builder.
