Nepean Redevelopment Construction Update October 2025
Summary of the latest Nepean Hospital Redevelopment construction activities in October 2025.
Exciting progress continues at Nepean Redevelopment with works progressing on the new 7-storey Stage 2 building's façade and the triple-height glass main entry.
Inside the building, the main entry atrium continues to take shape with the addition of the glass balustrade to Level 2 and framed glass to Level 3. The interior walls and floors within the new Education and Training space is also starting to take shape.
Work has also commenced on a new walkway that leads pedestrians to the hospital’s new main entry. The covered walkway will feature commissioned artwork from Dharug artist, Jamie Eastwood.

Across the campus, the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) Unit continues to edge closer to completion.
The external brickwork and façade works are complete. The builders have started working on landscaping as well as the external entry stairs and ramps.
Joinery is also being installed in bedrooms and common areas. The installation of flooring in the ensuites and bedrooms is finished and continuing in the common areas.

Courtyard works continue to progress with flooring underway and garden bed preparations.
Construction of the new unit is on track for completion in late 2025, followed by an operational commissioning period
Next to the CAMHS building, the new Total Asset Management (TAM) building is making good progress.
All plasterboard wall lining is done and the ceilings are close to completion. Painting and flooring have commenced onsite.
The TAM building will house hospital maintenance staff and their equipment.
