The Housing Appeals Committee (HAC) is an independent agency that hears appeals from anyone who is unhappy with an internal appeal decision made by Homes NSW or a registered provider of Community Housing.
Our service is free, informal and accessible.
How to make a Second Tier Appeal
1. Check if you can appeal the decision.
2. Make sure your social housing provider has completed a First Tier review.
3. Ensure your appeal is within the allowable period.
4. Confirm that your appeal is not subject to an order by the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal.
You can download a Second Tier Appeal form and send your appeal by mail.
